Cvetka Grbec

Cvetka Grbec is a Slovenian artisan specialising in wickerwork. She makes products from various materials, including hazel, willow, and corn husk. From an early age Cvetka admired the work of her neighbours basket-maker. Later in life, Cvetka decided to make baskets herself, and she acquired her craft skills through training at the Ribnica Handicraft Center. Cvetka now makes her own wicker products and sells them at local fairs. She is also sharing her craft knowledge at organised workshops.
